Test and Measurement Solutions for Automotive Applications
Rohde & Schwarz will showcase innovative test solutions for automotive applications, including 100/1000 GBit / s automotive Ethernet compliance testing on high-performance oscilloscopes in the R & S RTP series. The test specified by the TC9 working group will be demonstrated on the R & S ZNB vector network analyzer using a 1000Base-T1 connection. Rohde & Schwarz also offers electric vehicle developers a compact and flexible test solution for automotive battery management systems. The R & S NGM200 and R & S NGL200 series integrated power supplies can provide very stable voltage output with extremely low residual ripple and minimal noise, which can simulate multiple battery types.
Wireless and high-speed digital interface test solutions <br /> In the wireless world, the R & S CMW comprehensive tester platform simplifies testing of Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) and wearable devices. Rohde & Schwarz has developed a variety of Bluetooth® LE test solutions that allow RF testing via OTA without the need for control lines. These unique solutions allow rapid pre-compliance testing through OTA and shielded darkrooms. They support the Bluetooth Classic test mode and the Bluetooth LE direct test mode (DTM) up to the 5.1 specification. They also provide test solutions for various wireless interfaces and WLANs, including IEEE 802.11ac and 11ax.
The R & S RTP series of high-performance oscilloscopes have bandwidths up to 16 GHz, making them ideal for signal integrity testing on high-speed digital interfaces. They are the only oscilloscopes on the market with integrated time domain reflection (TDR) / time domain transmission (TDT) measurement and real-time de-embedding, which allows high-precision trigger systems to directly access the corrected signal without bandwidth limitations. Rohde & Schwarz will also showcase its new jitter separation option, which allows for more detailed signal integrity analysis than previous oscilloscopes. Rohde & Schwarz will demonstrate these unique features and all other related measurements and protocol analysis, such as DDR4, USB 3.1 and PCIe transmissions.
EMC test solutions <br /> For EMC testing, Rohde & Schwarz demonstrated an entry-level solution for measuring radiated and conducted interference. The solution includes the R & S FPC1000 spectrum analyzer and R & S ELEKTRA EMI test software with a user-friendly interface. The software is available in multiple versions: interactive test sequences for developers, or fully automated EMC test software for product certification. Rohde & Schwarz will also demonstrate the versatility of the R & S FPL1000 portable spectrum analyzer, such as for EMC pre-certification measurements, analysis of analog and digital signals, and use as a scalar network analysis. When developing communication modules, such as the IoT field, tracking very small or sporadic interference signals is often a challenge. Rohde & Schwarz will use a real-time R & S RTO2000 multi-domain oscilloscope to demonstrate how to quickly identify such interference signals in the frequency range up to 6 GHz and determine their source.
Power Test <br /> For embedded designs, it is important to power the modules in the correct order at the right time. R & S RTE oscilloscope with two R & S RT-ZVC broadband probes is an ideal solution for power supply timing measurement. Use this device to analyze up to 20 voltages simultaneously.
The R & S RTM3000 oscilloscope has a 10-bit vertical resolution, a 5 GSa / s sampling rate, and a standard 40 MSa memory depth per channel, making it the right choice for many R & D measurement tasks. It is ideal for testing power supply control loop response. The oscilloscope displays the measurement results in a Bode plot, enabling developers to clearly understand and optimize the modified results.
The R & S Scope Rider RTH oscilloscope is an excellent tool for repairing and maintaining all types of electrical and electronic equipment. This rugged handheld oscilloscope has the performance of a laboratory-grade instrument, and with the new R & S RTH-K38 option, scripts can now be created for automated measurement runs.
Power Integrity Measurements <br /> The versatile R & S ZNL vector network analyzer is the ideal solution for power integrity measurements in the frequency range up to 6 GHz. It enables developers to test very low impedance according to the requirements of the circuit design. When debugging PCBs, R & S ZNL can be used for many different types of analysis. It combines a vector network analyzer, a spectrum analyzer, and a power meter.
10th Anniversary of Oscilloscope Launch
At embedded world 2020, Rohde & Schwarz will also announce a special anniversary: Ten years ago, Rohde & Schwarz introduced the first two oscilloscope series. Since then, the company has developed a successful and comprehensive product portfolio that includes eight oscilloscope families, probe options and software applications in the frequency range up to 16 GHz. Rohde & Schwarz oscilloscopes feature excellent signal fidelity, high sample rates, innovative trigger systems, and intelligent user interfaces. To celebrate this tenth anniversary, Rohde & Schwarz will select ten R & S RTB2000 oscilloscopes as prizes throughout the year.
